We are going to start with persuasive writing. We might have touched a little on persuasive writing in the previous week when we were dealing with a letter to the editor. Now we will be giving more attention to this form of writing.

On the previous day, we looked at persuasive writing. Now we moving on to discursive writing. This is another type of writing with its own writing skills. We will look at the style, audience, language used, and purpose

Today, we will be looking at narrative writing. It is one of our longer writing tasks. Like all the other essays we have looked at, we will be looking at the purpose, basic components, structure, and techniques of a narrative essay.

This is the second day of our week. We will be looking at a discursive essay. Like the narrative essay, we will be looking at the purpose, basic components, structure, and techniques of a descriptive composition.

On this day we will look at expository writing. This is our last long essay. Like all the other essays, we are supposed to know the style, and language used, and consider the audience and purpose of writing.

On this day we will be looking at coherence and cohesion. These are one of the skills we need to acquire in order to write proper essays.

We have come to the second lesson of the week. In this lesson, we will be looking at writing notices. It is one of the writing tasks we have in the syllabus

We have come to the third lesson of this week. Today, we will be learning about how to write minutes. We are expected to know the structure and language used when writing minutes

This is the first day of our tenth week. We will be looking at writing an advertisement. This is one of the writings that needs creativity.

The previous day we looked at writing advertisements. today we move on to report writing. By the end of the lesson we should have looked at the structure, the language used audience, and tips on how to write a report.

This is the third day of our lesson, we have looked at writing an advertisement and a report. We now move on to writing dialogue. Again we will have to look at the structure, the language used, and techniques for writing dialogue.

Today we move on to writing a speech. We will look at the structure and techniques used to write a proper speech.

We will be looking at listening skills. There is basically nothing much to be taught in this lesson. Each learner should get used to listening. You can read the content pertaining to this unit but without exposing yourself to listening to different kinds of information presented in a variety of forms, then you lose it.

This is the second day of our week. We will continue with listening skills. We will look at the skills of selecting and organizing relevant material. We will also need to acquire skills in distinguishing between facts, ideas, and opinions.
